Lesley Brooks, MD serves as the Chief Medical Officer for Sunrise Community Health and the Assistant Medical Director for the North Colorado Health Alliance in northern Colorado. In her role as Assistant Medical Director, Dr. Brooks is responsible for oversight of care plans for Medicaid patients. In addition, Dr. Brooks has developed a robust Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) program and care coordination of an integrated team of providers working to better manage the use of opioids for treatment of chronic pain. She also co-chairs the Provider Education Work Group for the Colorado Consortium for Prescription Drug Abuse Prevention and speaks nationally on the topic of Substance Use Disorder. She studied medicine at the University of Colorado, and completed her residency at North Colorado Family Medicine.

Samantha Lippolis

Samantha Lippolis is a virtual health and tele-medicine expert with a decade of experience creating award-winning tele-medicine programs in multiple geographies. She has vast experience providing leadership for health system tele-heath services, including University of Cincinnati Health, Centura Health, University of Colorado Physicians Group, Children’s Hospital Colorado, and Kaiser Permanente Colorado. Sam’s has established and implemented telemedicine services across 5 states in 19 specialties from Level 1 trauma centers to critical access hospitals to solo practices. She has trained over 700 clinicians on tele-health.  She is also nationally known for her efforts in teaching physicians and clinicians in private practice how to plan, implement and grow tele-health including reimbursement, technology,  compliance, and patient and provider acceptance. Her weekly video blog Sam I Am, covers topics as diverse as video visits and remote patient monitoring. Sam was named a Rural Health Fellow by the National Rural Health Association and was a Fellow in Telehealth by the Clinton Global Initiative University. In 2015 she testified in the Colorado House, Senate and Medical Board and her efforts led to provider reimbursement parity and modernized medical board guidance for tele-health. In 2019 she partnered with the Ohio Hospital Association and her testimony the in Ohio House led to the passing of tele-health parity legislation in Ohio.
